Press Press Release for Kamikazecon 3

Press Release

Kamikazecon, founded in 2003, had it's first convention back in March 25-27, 2005. With over 3200+ attendees, it was THE largest first year con at the time. The result of the 2 years of planning was that it was one of the most successful conventions ever and set the bar very high for other conventions.

Kamikazecon 2, which ran April 10-12, 2009, continued that standard with professional care to all attendees alike. Filled to the brim with Japanese Culture, the 2009 convention entertained all those that attend with 24-hour Anime viewing rooms, panels, industry information, and Japanese guest Shinichi Watanabe. The highlight of the convention was a complete concert by the Japanese Band "m.o.v.e."

Kamikazecon 3, which is scheduled to occur March 19-21, 2010, will take place during Spring Break weekend for almost eveyrone in Texas. With all the excitement of a new year and the understanding of what needs to be done to make a great convention, we hope to create an event which the attendees will never forget. The weekend will be packed full of panels and fun events. We invite you to come for the enjoyment - and leave with some free stuff.
